Compact loops and fast templates
Tuesday, January 27, 2026

Hi everyone,

I’ve added some features that make Mood Loops a lot easier for me to use, and I hope you’ll like them too.

New Features

  • Loops can be “archived.” Archived loops are a great way to keep a past loop around if you want to use it repeatedly.
    • Loops may be archived manually or upon completion
    • Archived loops do not advance or send any notifications and do not appear in the calendar
    • Click an archived loop to un-archive it and restart it from the first day
    • You may toggle the index to show or hide archived loops
    • Archived loops still count towards the 3-loop limit for free users
  • You can choose between expanded and compacted views for your loop index. The compact view is great for a quick status overview on your phone, while the expanded view is better for checking when things will change.

Bug Fixes

  • Clicking the link to the terms of service on the first-time signup page no longer takes you back to the signup page
  • Repaired email feedback form
  • Corrected color display on buttons in the light color theme
  • Fixed newsletter features

What’s Next?

I’m very pleased with these changes, since I use Mood Loops all the time.

  • Sometimes the site takes a long time to load. I am having trouble tracking the cause through Cloudflare.
  • Streamline documentation, add images and better tutorials.
